Common side effects of this presentation may include more productivity at work. You’ve seen those ads. There’s a new drug out, it sounds incredible, but at the end of the advertisement there is a long list of all these potential side effects and some of them make it a little nervous.

Sometimes at work, there are side effects and you need to be aware of them so you can keep your productivity up. Because sometimes you might want to work late, get that important report done, but there’s a side effect associated with working late.

It’s that the janitors come in and they’ve got all these vacuums and other cleaning devices. They are doing their job, but it’s noisy and it makes it much harder for you to get your work done.

So you need to think, if I have to concentrate and focus, doing it after work on those days when the janitors come, not a good idea. Otherwise, the project will take twice as long and I might make some mistakes.

See, we’re just giving you the opportunity to think about things in the office that could be a distraction. You can’t change all of them, but if you are aware of the side effects, you see what I’m doing there, you can protect yourself and your productivity.

Think about those tasks that you have to do multiple times and if there’s something that just makes it harder to get the job done. Can you perhaps reschedule things, move your workspace, do what ever you need to do to allow you to focus on that task and get the work done right.
