Video Transcript for Clean Up Clutter at Work

Will you join me in declaring war on clutter? It starts really innocently. You go to a conference, you get a binder full of information. There are reports at work. Perhaps there are some books you want to read. The clutter starts to explode in your workplace. And before long, you start having problems.

You see, you can’t find stuff you need. Or you’re not able to properly file things that you’ll need at a later time. So your office becomes ground zero for clutter.

Don’t worry about this. It’s a common thing. The think I want you to do is to devote a day, periodically, even a few hours, to declaring war on clutter.

Get everyone in your office to go through all the things they no longer need. I’m guessing they have accumulated a lot.

Pick a slow day. Do this. You’ll be surprised how much more efficient everyone can be, just because they’re not having to dig through a bunch of stuff that they no longer need.

Hoarding doesn’t fit a productive office. Declare war on clutter.
