The small details can make a big difference in your business. While recently enjoying a meal at a restaurant, I noticed that the table wobbled. Apparently one of the legs was shorter or longer than the others. If you’d try to cut your food, then the whole table would shake, including all of the drinks. It was like eating in a row boat.
As you might guess, this was a distraction from an otherwise good meal. It take a lot of hard work to operate a successful restaurant and I’m surprised that this kind of problem was not fixed. Surely someone setting or clearing the tables should have noticed the wobble. It’s an easy fix and there are even online resources for those who aren’t very mechanical.
If a restaurant or any business ignores the little details, then what else is being neglected? These are problems that can be controlled. Why not take care of them?
